Helmden

Built by pelvic health physical therapists

You can't control a reflex. You can control everything before it.

Finishing fast is a reflex firing early, usually because your body is tense and revved without you knowing it. Squeezing and holding on at the last second will always lose.

The Hidden Clench (you tense up during sex without knowing it). The Pressure Spike (steady on your own, gone the moment it counts). The Hurry-Up (rushing before the erection fades). And two more.

Same breath. Two speeds. One of them is a brake.

Find your type

Finishing too fast isn't one problem. It's five different ones, and they need different fixes. That's why the thing that worked for some guy on Reddit did nothing for you. A 2-minute quiz finds yours.

Train the brake, not the clamp

Short daily guided sessions teach your body to ease off arousal instead of clenching against it. The opposite of white-knuckling, and the opposite of what most guys have been doing without realizing it.

Watch the number move

A Control Score that climbs as your control does. One session a day, in order, each one building on the last. No more trying five things at once and praying one works.

Already tried things? That's not a strike against you. It's data.

Kegels

If you finish fast AND tense up during sex, you may have been strengthening a muscle that needed to relax first. That's why they backfired.

Numbing sprays

They turn down the signal instead of teaching you to read it. And they can numb your partner too.

Pills

They can change your timing while you take them, but they train nothing. The side effects are why so many men quit.

Stop-start on its own

The technique is fine. But without a gauge, you're guessing when to stop.

None of these failed because you're broken. They failed because nobody matched the fix to your type.

How it works

  1. 1. Find the brake

Your body has a down-shift. In your first session you'll relax the muscles you'd use to stop your pee midstream, on purpose, on a slow exhale. Most men have never once done that consciously.

  2. 2. Read the gauge

You'll learn a simple real-time signal for how close you are to the point of no return, so you stop guessing.

  3. 3. Add load

Level by level, you practice holding control at higher excitement. You move up a session at a time, at your own pace, never waiting out a clock.

The men behind the method

Helmden is built by Integrated Pelvic Care, a team of pelvic-health clinicians who treat this for a living and train other clinicians to do the same.

Woody Wu

Woody worked as an orthopedic surgeon in Beijing before retraining in physical therapy at McGill. The method in this app is his: the same approach he now teaches to pelvic-health clinicians across North America.

Steven directs IPC's US operations and treats men's pelvic issues every week: pain, recovery after surgery, and control problems. He mentors physical therapists across the US in male pelvic care.

What we won't do

We won't promise you 30 minutes. We won't sell you numbing anything. And if your quiz says your timing is closer to normal than you think, we'll tell you that too. Some men need a shorter program, and a few patterns are worth a doctor's eyes. We'll say so to your face.

Questions men actually ask

Is this private?

Yes. No community you have to join, sessions are solo audio, and your result is shown from your device. We keep one anonymous copy, with no name and no email, so it's waiting when you sign up, and you can delete it any time.

Is this medical treatment?

No. It's an educational training program built with pelvic-health physical therapists. It doesn't replace a doctor, and we'll flag when seeing one is the right move.

How long until I notice anything?

Your first session gives you a felt rep of control in about ten minutes. The skill itself builds over weeks, and your Control Score shows you whether it's moving.

What does it cost?

The quiz, your result, and Session 1 are free. The full program is a monthly membership you can cancel anytime in two taps.
